Rebecca Spillane

Becca Spillane serves as an intern at Keller Partners, assisting in grant writing and research. She brings an extensive understanding of political behavior, the nature and workings of political institutions, and the ways in which both domestic and international structures constrain policy responses. Through her internship, she hopes to gain hands-on experience working in D.C. with clients who are action oriented.

Prior to joining Keller Partners, Becca worked as a legislator in the University of Maryland's Student Government Association, where she represented the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences. There, she introduced and passed multiple bills in order to advance the student body experience, and she gained a personal understanding of the legislative process. On campus, Becca also worked as a Coordinator for Terps for Change, where she educated volunteers on sustainability practices within natural systems and the socioeconomic impacts of these practices on vulnerable communities.

Becca is a current senior at the University of Maryland where she is working towards a BA in Environmental Science and Policy with a concentration in Politics and Policy. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, painting, hiking and taking part in any activity on the water.
