Alan Katz

Alan brings experience across a broad spectrum of government affairs functions to his role as Keller Partners' Senior Manager, Government Affairs and Grant Services. He leverages his knowledge of policymaking and politics and his skills in advocacy, strategic communications and research to help the Keller Partners team deliver on client objectives.

Prior to joining Keller Partners, Alan served in associate and legislative assistant capacities with notable Washington DC-based lobbying firms, where he worked closely with senior management and client representatives across the country to develop and implement strategic advocacy campaigns focused on securing legislative changes, grant funding and regulatory relief. Alan's work has encompassed core infrastructure and social services programs for local governments of all sizes; energy and tax policy development for national business associations, and workforce development dollars for postsecondary institutions, among a wide range of other issues. Alan has gained valuable experience from his work in the Capitol Hill offices of Senator Frank Lautenberg and Congressman John Adler from his native New Jersey, and in political fundraising for Congressional candidates.

Alan received his BA in Political Science from George Washington University. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis, spending time with family and exploring the Washington food scene.
