Nicolas D. Norboge, PhD

Dr. Nicolas Norboge brings to Keller Partners a decade of experience conducting economic and financial modeling and forecasts for various clients in the public and non-profit sectors. Dr. Norboge's work includes numerous online web dashboards that visualize economic and financial data. For example, Dr. Norboge worked with a team to build a revenue forecasting model for the Texas Department of Transportation and an economic forecasting model for the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority. Both models were developed online and intended to provide policy alternatives and solutions to policymakers and government officials.

Dr. Norboge has also led over 10 benefit-cost analyses on behalf of public-sector clients. Finally, Dr. Norboge has presented federal climate change legislation and administrative policy change legislation to senior state officials and is familiar with federal governing statutes in this area.

In addition to his professional experience, Dr. Norboge is a member of the Transportation Research Board's Revenue and Finance Committee, a friend of the Economics Committee, and is chair and founder of the Young Professionals in Transportation - Houston and Raleigh-Durham chapters. Dr. Norboge holds a Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Science, Master of Public Service and Administration from the Bush School of Government, and a B.A. in political science from Texas A&M University - College Station.

A born-and raised Texan; Dr. Norboge now lives in Durham, North Carolina with his wife and two cats. When he's not busy conducting economic impact and benefit-cost analyses for government and non-profit organizations, Dr. Norboge enjoys running and hiking on North Carolina's many beautiful outdoor trails.
